Evidence-Based Therapy for Anxiety, Depression, and Life Transitions

I’m Dr. Rachel Lauber, a licensed clinical psychologist in Santa Monica with over 25 years of experience working with adults experiencing anxiety, depression, and relationship challenges, as well as women navigating pregnancy, postpartum, and other major life transitions.

My approach is thoughtful and collaborative, grounded in evidence-based practices such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and mindfulness. I offer a compassionate, attuned space while also helping you develop practical tools and insight that support meaningful, lasting change.

Together, we’ll work toward greater balance, resilience, and a clearer, steadier way of responding to the challenges you’re facing.

How I Can Help

The Therapy Process

Undertand Your Patterns

We begin by identifying the emotional, cognitive and relational patterns that contribute to anxiety, low mood, and recurring stress in your life.

Develop New Ways of Responding

Using CBT and mindfulness-based strategies, we build practical skills and insight to help you respond more effectively to challenges and relationships.

Support Lasting Change

Over time, this work supports greater emotional stability, more sustainable coping, and a clearer way of navigating life's challenges and transitions.

It starts with a conversation.

Taking the first step to reach out is often the hardest part. Scheduling a consultation gives us a chance to connect, discuss your goals, and see if working together feels like the right fit.
